Ralph Borkowski is retiring after 25 years as Huron’s city planner.
Borkowski’s last day will be June 21st.
Barry Cranston, formerly of Greater Huron Development Corporation, has been hired as the new city planner.
Huron is Borkowski’s hometown. He says he considers himself fortunate to have been able to serve his community for so many years.
Borkowski says he has enjoyed being a part of Huron’s recent development, including the growth of Southtown.
More residential streets and a cul-de-sac for commercial development are planned for Southtown either this year or next.
The full interview with Borkowski is included in the April edition of the Everything Huron podcast which is available for download on our website.
