Board of Education Hears Report on Dual Credit Program

Last night the Huron Board of Education heard a report on the dual credit program from high school principal Mike Radke.

Dual credit courses allow students to earn credit for both high school and college.

Radke says 45 students, juniors and seniors are taking dual credit course this school year.

He says the numbers are down a bit compared to last year.

Radke says he has talked to other school districts about their dual credit programs.

Radke says normally they see an increase in the number of students taking dual credit courses in the second semester.
