Monday night, the Huron Board of Education got on update on the general fund from business manager Kelly Christopherson.
Christopherson says so far the district has collected $1,870,000 or 5% of budgeted revenue.
Christopherson says right now the district is budgeted to move up to $900,000 from the capital outlay fund to the general fund.
Christopherson also had an update on the 2018-2019 general fund.
Christopherson shared figures from the district’s surplus auction. This was the first year the auction was held online. The district made about $64,000, before paying the auctioneer commission and advertising. That money will be deposited in the general fund.
