Last night, business manager Kelly Christopherson gave the Huron Board of Education an update on the school district’s general fund.
With the 2017-2018 fiscal year completed, Christopherson says the district has collected $18,099,000.00 or 93% of the budgeted revenue.
Christopherson says the expenditure numbers shouldn’t change unless an error is found, the revenue budget will continue to increase.
He says at this time, it looks like the fund will be $800,000.00 to $900,000.00 over budget.
Christopherson says the transfer should allow the district to avoid an opt-out.
The board will get an update at the August meeting.
