Board Approves New Branding Package, Delays Action on Tiger Head

The Huron Board of Education has voted to approve a new branding package for the school district, including a logo, but will wait to take action on a new tiger head.

Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Sherri Nelson says in response to feedback from the public, the branding committee has made some changes to the tiger head.

Nelson says the decision has been made to drop a separate “gentle” version of the tiger head.

Craig Lee says he has heard from residents who want to know why it is necessary to change the tiger head.

The board hopes to get more feedback from the public over the next three months.
