he South Dakota State Fair Foundation is closer to their goal of raising $ 4.7 million for the new Nordby 4H Exhibit Hall on the state fairgrounds in Huron. Foundation spokesperson Kathryn Henning says they got a major donation this week from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Rail officials.
Henning says construction is expected to begin very soon on the Nordby Hall. She says they hope to open it for next year’s state fair.
