Bill To Fund Roads Killed In State Senate

Another effort in the South Dakota legislature to increase revenue to pay for road construction and maintenance.  Senator Mike Vahle of Mitchell is once again leading the effort to raise the gas tax, license plate fees and vehicle excise taxes.  He says the need is dire in South Dakota.  Still, he asked that the measure be killed this year…
