An interim South Dakota Legislative committee has agreed to a package of bills dealing with alcohol tax changes. The Alcoholic Beverage Distribution Study committee wrapped up their summer series Monday in Pierre. The committee had been working through proposals that would change the way alcohol taxes are charged and collected. The bills would tax alcohol on a per gallon basis, instead of percentages, similar to the tax on beer.
