City Building Inspector Roger Bell presented an update on the number of rental units that have been registered as a part of Huron’s initiative to make sure housing units up for rent are safe and in good condition. He says during the process, they’ve discovered more rental units in town than they thought….
Bell says there’s still time for landlords to have the registration fees waived….
The fees for the registration are 25-dollars for a one permit, 45 for a two-year and 65 for a three-year with a five dollar fee for each additional rental unit with in a structure
