HURON, S.D. – April 9, 2020 – The Beadle County Unified Task Force has been working to keep the public informed on the current issues we all are facing with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Beadle County.
On Friday, April 10, 2020, at 1:00pm the Beadle County Unified Task Force will hold a community briefing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and provide Beadle County residents with a financial update. The briefing will be designed as a round table, with representatives from the South Dakota Department of Labor, Small Business Development Center and Dakotaland FCU. The panel will provide information about unemployment options, financial advice and employer options to maintain the workforce.
We are going to stream the video live on the City of Huron’s YouTube Channel. We encourage to subscribe to the “Huron, SD” YouTube page. The YouTube link will be posted on the “Beadle County Covid-19” Facebook page, before the event. Performance Radio will also air the community brief. The video will also be available on Cable Channel 6, after the press conference.
There will be time for questions at the end of the press conference and the public is asked to email questions to [email protected]. The questions can be emailed before or during the broadcast.
