Beadle County Survivors is a group that has recently formed and added a Facebook page. The group is comprised of persons who have been affected by suicide by a family member or friend. Their mission is to create awareness and suicide prevention. Co-organizer Chelsey Haibeck talks about how the group formed.

A fundraiser for Beadle County Survivors comes up later this month with the 2024 Prom night. Chelsey talks about how the idea for the event came about.
The Beadle County Survivors 2024 Prom Night is Saturday January 20th at Top Floor Events 31 4th street south east in Huron. A dinner and a dance $30 for both per person, $20 for only the dance. Tickets for the meal on sale through January 11th. For the dance alone you can pay at the door the night of the event. Proceeds will go to the Beadle County Survivors non profit organization to help with suicide awareness.
