Authorities Still Asking The Public's Help In Search For Cyriacks

The South Dakota Attorney General’s office is the latest law enforcement agency to ask for the public’s assistance in the search for a missing Woonsocket woman. Thirty year old Rachel Cyriacks was last seen in Woonsocket on the morning of November 13^th. Court documents in Jerauld, Sanborn and Beadle Counties have revealed a trail of domestic abuse between 30-year-old Rachel Cyriacks and her husband Bradley. Most recently in Beadle County, Rachel Cyriacks was planning to drop off Bradley’s pick-up truck. A protection order had been in place from a previous incident in Sanborn County. The Cyriacks ended up in the truck together heading south toward Woonsocket from Huron when Bradley pushed Rachel from the truck. After taking refuge in a nearby home, law enforcement was contacted and deputies from three counties performed a sweep of Rachel Cyriacks residence, when they located Bradley Cyriacks hiding in Rachel’s home. He pleaded guilty to violation of a protection order and was sentenced to six months in prison. Five months of that sentence was suspended and credit for 22 days in jail was given. Bradley Cyriacks spent eight days in jail, being released on November 11^th, two days before authorities say Rachel Cyriacks was last heard from. The Sanborn County Sheriff’s office continues to say Bradley Cyriacks is not a suspect in Rachel’s disappearance, and have talked with him about his wife’s disappearance. Rachel Cyriacks is five-feet, five-inches tall and approximately 140 pounds.  Anyone with information regarding Cyriacks whereabouts is asked to contact the Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office at 796-4511 or Huron Police Department at 353-8550.
