Three area towns will be recieving federal money for upgrades to water system infrastructure. U.S Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says 445.3 million dollars will be used for 89 water and wastewater projects across the country, through the Federal Recovery Act. The town of Ashton has been selected to receive a 238 thousand dollar loan and a 58-thousand dollar grant. Ashton will use the money for wastewater system improvements. Cavour has been selected to receive a 61-thousand dollar loan and a 49-thousand dollar grant to upgrade the water system. And the City of Clark has been selected to get a 365-thousand dollar loan and a 136-thousand dollar grant for wastewater system improvements
