The Huron Area Antique Power Association is holding their 20th annual show tomorrow and Sunday at the southwest corner of the state Fairgrounds. This year they are spotlighting Huber farm equipment and Stover stationary engines.
Committee member Julie Kropuenske says while Huber tractors were around for over half a century, they didn’t manufacture a lot of them.
She said there was a Huber dealership in downtown Huron for a time.
Committee member Doug Friedrichsen says the show give a history of South Dakota agriculture, from Dakota Territory to present day…
The show features a parade on the grounds at 2:30 both days, demonstrations, car and tractor games, a flea market, and a Sunday morning church service. Admission is free.
