A very strong late winter storm is predicted to punch its way through much of the northern plains this week.
Kyle Weisser at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says it will span several days.
Weisser says there will be a mix of precipitation.
Weisser says the transition zone will be difficult to predict.
Some areas could see two to three inches of rain which will bring the danger of more flooding.
At this time, the forecast for the Huron area includes chances of rain, freezing rain and drizzle Tuesday night thru Wednesday night and a 90% chance of snow on Thursday. Snowfall totals are expected to be light but areas of blowing snow are forecast into Friday morning.
