A 54 year old man from Mitchell, accused of voting more than once in last month’s Mitchell School Board election, says he’s not guilty. Craig Guymon made his initial court appearance Tuesday. His attorney Ron Volesky participated via telephone. According to court documents, Guymon voted once the morning of June 4th at the polling place, the MCTEA academy and then absentee voted that afternoon at the Davison County Auditor’s office. He provided his South Dakota driver’s license at both locations. Mitchell Police arrested Guymon after poll workers discovered the discrepancy. He was booked into the Davison County Jail and released the next day. Judge Tim Bjorkman set trial for the week of August 20th.
