South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is warning South Dakota citizens that a data breach of the Internal Revenue Service has allowed thieves to access more than 100,000 taxpayers’ personal tax information. Jackley encourages South Dakotans to keep an eye on their credit.
Jackley says citizens who think there has been identity fraud committed against them should contact the state’s Consumer Protection Division.
