Accident Injures Three In Huron

Three people sustained injuries in a Thursday morning accident in Huron. Emergency crews were summoned around 7:45-AM to the intersection of 9th Street and Lincoln Avenue, where a passenger car drove west, across Lincoln Avenue into the path of a northbound pick-up truck. A third vehicle, traveling south on Lincoln was struck by the pick-up as the impact with the car pushed the truck into oncoming traffic. Two adults and a child were transported to Huron Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The accident damage disabled both the car and pick-up. The third vehicle sustained minor damage. Huron police continue to investigate the accident. There is no word on any possible citations or charges
