AARP Wants To See Permanent Fix For "Doc Fix"

While the pay roll tax cut extension was the center of the debate between the House and Senate, also included in the two month extension was a bill that prevents a twenty seven percent cut in Medicare payments to doctors. The so called “doc fix” has become part of the annual year end crush in Washington. Both parties agree the payment formula is flawed, but it would cost over three hundred billion dollars to fix.  Sarah Jennings, state director of AARP-South Dakota says the payments are critical to seniors in the state…
