The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider setting bid dates on three items and an agreement with South Dakota State’s College of Nursing. The second reading of an ordinance that allows certain exceptions in the Business Improvement District ordinance is tonight along with the first reading of the supplemental appropriations ordinance . Commissioners will consider two human resource items relating to the fire department and will consider both contingency and year end transfers. The Huron City Commission will meet in executive session for a personnel matter and hold work sessions to discuss a proposed rental code and review city policies. The Huron City Commission meets at 5:30 PM tonight and the meeting is open to the public.
