The Huron City Commission is set to meet tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider setting bid dates for a self-propelled front rotary mower and manhole restoration projects and two change orders. Commissioners will also consider a quote for a four wheel drive pick up for the water and sewer department. The Commission will consider a maintenance agreement for E-911 mapping and consider a grant application to help with work on the Campbell Park band shell. The first reading of two ordinances are tonight. One ordinance is coming back to the Commission regarding hobby farms in town. The second deals with the new Business Improvement District established last year. Commissioners will also consider appointments to the Park and Recreation Board and will meet in executive session for three items. The Commission will end their meeting with a work session to review the Capital Improvement plan for the Park Board at 6:30. The Huron City Commission’s meetings are open to the public.
