A motions hearing for a Minnesota man charged with vehicular homicide is set for Friday March 2nd. Legal motions in the case of 28-year old James Harris are set for 1:30 PM that day in the Kingsbury County Courthouse. In addition to the vehicular homicide charge, Harris is facing charges of drunk driving and felony hit and run. The Anoka Minnesota man accused of driving a pick-up that struck and killed 16 year-old Zachary Eichstadt of De Smet in September of last year. A five-day trial is scheduled, with jury selection beginning March 26th. Should Harris’ case make it to trial in the final week of March, expanded electronic media coverage, including video, has been granted by Judge Jon Erickson, Prosecutor Gregg Gass and Harris Lawyer Jeff Burns.
