James Valley Shrine Club Dontates iPads

The Yelduz James Valley Shrine Club in Huron, recently presented the gift of 17  iPads to the Shriners Childrens hospital in the Twin Cities. The gift included 25 iPad cases, and screen protectors for the units. The iPads are to be used by both patients and staff at the Minnesota hospital. The staff will use the iPads to teach patients about the procedures that will be performed on them while they are in the hospital through the use of photos and videos. They ease the children’s fear and answer many of their questions. iPads also serve as an excellent distraction tool to help patients with pain management. The number one game played by the patients on the iPad is Angry Birds.
