The South Dakota Farmers Union has named an interim director for its south central district to serve on the state board. In a news release, the Farmers Union says the board of directors appointed Joel Keierleber, of Colome, as interim director of the fourth district, which includes Tripp and Todd counties. Keierleber replaces Brad Reis, of Hamill, S.D., who resigned. Keierleber will serve the remainder of Reis’ term on the Farmers Union board of directors, which runs through February 2013.
