Huron Taking Steps To Deal With Troubled Club

The City of Huron has approved a public hearing for December 30th to consider the submission of a recommendation to the State Department of Revenue to revoke or suspended the alcohol licenses held by Werner Fajardo, the owner/operator of Bar and Club El Cuervo. Any action by the South Dakota Department of Revenue would go through a series of state administrative procedures before a decision on suspending or revoking the licenses would take place. The Bar and Club El Cuervo has been at the center of recent possible criminal activity involving minors and the consumption of alcohol, including the alleged rape of three teenage girls who according to court documents, had been given alcohol by Fajardo.
