City Commission Meets Tonight

The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider a payment request for work on the North water tower and will consider an E-911 dispatch agreement with Hand County. The Commission will also consider a joint funding agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey for a gage station on the James River and a joint cooperative agreement with the Northeast Council of Governments. The Commission will also consider approval of a resolution outlining payment, and other financial documentation for the Central Park project. Commissioners will also consider two human resource items and a re-appointment to the golf course commission. The Commission will also meet in executive session for union negotiations. the Huron City Commission meets at 5:30 PM tonight at the meeting is open to the public.
