HARROLD, S.D. (AP) – An updated railroad grain-loading facility in central South Dakota will be up and running soon. The ribbon was cut last week on the $13 million facility in Harrold, and co-owner Dale Gilyard says he expects it to be open by Saturday. Gilyard says corn and other crops can be loaded into 145 rail cars within 10 hours. The Harrold grain terminal currently allows only 25 cars a day to be loaded. The facility is creating six jobs to go with the current 10 employees at the terminal.
