Last week’s free food giveaway from Feeding South Dakota the Heartland Region United Way and Huron Ministerial association was postponed due to cold weather. It has been rescheduled for Thursday February 27th at 11:30 am at People’s Transit. Local organizers Pastor Nick Helkenn with Huron Open Bible church spoke about the assistance they receive to distribute the food.
Helkenn said they could use the help with distribution days if any groups are interested.
The Free Food Giveaway begins at 11:30 at People’s Transit at First and Wyoming in Huron. Photo ID is required for pick up.
