The SD Highway 37 reconstruction project has been progressing well in Huron with concrete being laid from 3rd to 5th street. Once the road is finished the sidewalk street scape will be finished by Stockwell Engineering. The project has closed off most of Dakota avenue from market to 5th for 4 months on September 13. The Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau has been steadfastly working to remind us of the businesses in downtown Huron and the importance to support those businesses that are only a few extra steps away.
Laurie Shelton, Executive Director of the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau says with the construction nearing the end, its important to make an extra effort to visit those businesses.
