More today with John Ball, SDSU Extension agronomist on the emerald ash borer. It has been moving up the I 29 corridor in South Dakota for several years. Ball said once the emerald ash borer is detected in an ash trees there are treatment options to save the tree.
Ball said the decision to treat the ash tree after the emerald ash borer has arrived should considered based on the tree itself.
