The Heartland Region United Way is participating with the city wide clean up in August. The Day of Caring on August 13 will be used in part for volunteers from the United Way to assist with the clean up for residents that need help getting items to the solid waste site or any neighborhood pick up locations. Jen Bragg talks about how they were brought in to assist.
It is getting close to starting the new campaign year for 2025 for the United Way. Brag said another great event to kick start the campaign comes up July 27th.
