At Monday nights Huron City Commission meeting assistant city engineer Dennis Bennett has a progress payment request for that project and an update on the reconstruction.
Sanitary sewer lines were not a part of this project. If property owners wanted their service replaced they would need to work with the contractor to replace the service. Commission Bryan Smith asked Bennett how many owners opted for the sewer line update.
The full portion of this years reconstruction area will be closed off Monday morning. The detour will go east on 5th to Kansas and north to Market then back to Dakota. Use caution around the detour route.
