As everyone has seen this is a year of road construction updates in the Huron area. A re-rout of the road that leads to the Huron Community gardens and in front of the future Huron Transfer Station 3rd street and 4th street se. Huron Mayor Mark Robish said first payment on that project was presented at the commission meeting last Monday night.
A straightened route up the hill towards the old Dakota Pork complex and the community gardens area has been smoothed out that will remove the old sharp curves that led to that area.
