The first of April Huron residents with sump pump hoses are required to place their hoses into their yard away from their foundation following the winter thaw to prevent additional water at the water treatment plant. Huron Water-Sewer superintendent Rob Rieger spoke at the commission meeting Monday night during the public forum.
