Ringneck Nation Catching On As Pheasant Opener Nears

Saturday is the opening of the pheasant hunting season in South Dakota as tourism and chamber official across the state roll out the orange carpet for thousands of out of state visitors. State tourism officials sponsored the Minnesota Vikings game last weekend to encourage football fans to “flock” to South Dakota. Benker says the response to the Rooster Rush booth during the Vikings pre-game tailgate party was awesome, with many people inquiring about hunting in South Dakota.
