HPD Gets Money For Taser From WAPA

The Huron Police Department has received a one-thousand dollar donation from the Western Area Power Administration for the purchase of an additional Taser Electronic Control Device.  WAPA Safety and Security Manager Ronald Boyer presented the department with a check, which will be usedd to purchase the Taser and support equipment.  The new Taser will allow every uniformed officer on shift to have access to the technology.
