The Huron City Commission met Monday night and approved an agreement with Wheeler’s Business Products to take away baled cardboard. Commissioners also acknowledged receipt a warranty deed with the Greater Huron Development Corporation that essentially transfers a portion of land in the second industrial park back to the City of Huron. The collection is for residents only, businesses may drop off items but will be charged for them. Commissioners also approved three variances, meeting as the Board of Adjustment. The City Commission closed out their meeting with work sessions on the 2011 Budget Review and to review a contract with the Huron Ambulance Association.
