Also appointed to the Corrections Commission is Mitchell lawyer Timothy Bottum who is on the Abbott House Board of Directors and Mitchell Technical Institute Foundation Board of Directors. McGirr was a police commissioner during his time on the Huron City Commission before being elected Mayor.
