Winter weather brings the threat of blizzards but if you have been missing your fix of Dairy Queen blizzards of the past several months the good news is that they will be re-opening soon. A major renovation of Dairy Queen on Lincoln avenue in Huron is nearing completion. There are many substantial updates as we hear from Austin Duxbury with Dairy Queen.
Safety is always a primary concern, the east entry door was improved to eliminate the big step up. The concerns with the old drive up blocking traffic on Lincoln Avenue have been addressed as well.
With a major building update in the same size as the old building, Duxbury said they made upgrades to work area as well.
Duxbury said the re-opening will be early in January.
