The Behavioral Health center Angel Haus has been open since early May of this year. While that building was adding residents in the living floors after putting the old Violet Tschetter memorial home back in order after closing in 2019, the future of the blue house on the corner of 7th and Kansas se was brought into question. After considering the options in the end the house was gifted to Hope House to occupy that building. The Hope House mission statement is to bring a sober living home to women in Huron. Gayle Stahl, Hope House president has spent a lot of time getting the facility ready to occupy.
Stahl spent a lot of time doing research and said the need is there.
She talks about who their residents will be.
