Monday night at the Huron City Commission meeting, Solid Waste superintendent Dale Fortin was on hand to talk about department changes for warmer weather starting next month.
Fortin said to help residents clean up they will have garbage pickup twice a week in April.
As we learned last week the yard waste drop off location will changed. Fortin reminds residents about that change and said crews are preparing the site.
Fortin added for the rubble site make sure the items are bagged so you do not have to go into the building. They will have an extra hour from 9-1 in the month of April on Saturday. Normally one load per month with your utility bill, in the month of April you can use the bill to bring as many loads as you have to the site. So keep your utility bill secure to use all month if needed.
