The Huron School Board met on 2/15/2021 with the only item on the agenda being the approval of the contract for the next Huron School District superintendent who will take over for Terry Nebelsick who will retire at the end of the school year. Board chair Tim Van Burkem explained how the decision came about.
Board member Craig Lee said Steinhoff was a good choice for the community and the future of the school district.
Superintendent Terry Nebelsick said the process went well.
The vote was unanimous, Dr Kraig Steinhoff will take over as the Huron School Superintendent when Terry Nebelsick retires at the end of the school year.
