We are at day eight in our Daily Dex Feature. The plans for a multi purpose building on the SD State Fairgrounds can be viewed at sdstatefairfoundation.com. The foundations goal is to reach the 4 million dollar pledge goal from donors statewide. Today we hear from Doris Mutchelknaus of Huron remembering the lost beef barn complex and the time spent in it.
Mutchelknaus said what the beef barn offered the Dakota Events Complex could do so much more in continuing to offer those activities.
The additional 12 million dollars in one time funding from the state will need approval from the SD Legislature.
