In addition to the resolution regarding a School Resource Officer for the Huron School District, the Huron City Commission approved the other two items on their agenda last night. Approved was a change order for a sewer main lining project. Assistant City Engineer Lyle Zell says some of the sewer main that was being lined was larger than anticipated and thus called for more material. The Commission also approved the voluntary resignation of part time dispatcher Jennifer Standfield and gave approval for Human Resource Director Pat Schmidt to advertise for and fill the vacated position. After a short recess the Commission held a work session on the 2012 City Budget.
