A Perfect Vision of Fun, SD State Fair 2020 is 4 weeks away to the day. As anticipated the fair will have Covid-19 look this year with social distancing guidelines in place. Peggy Besch, manager of the fair talks about the outlook for vendors at the fair.
The State Fair carnival may have reduced amounts of rides but several carnival groups will combine forces for the fair as they have done with other fairs around the state.
The Sioux Empire Fair is currently underway, Brown County Summerfest, Central States Fair and the State Fair are still approaching, Besch said the carnival vendors got together on their own to fill the need.
Preview day at the SD State Fair is September 2nd. The fair runs September 3rd through the 7th.
