Huron was the third city of four that Governor Kristi Noem visited in reference 200 million dollars in Cares act funding designated for city and county expenses. She outlined the funding at the Huron city commission room.
While the funding helps cities and counties pay for Covid-19 related expenses. Noem stated the virus effects will be ongoing.
The amounts which are based on the 2010 census figures include just over 3 million dollars for the city of Huron and 1.2 million dollars for Beadle County.
