HURON BLOOD DRIVE JUNE 30

One of the side effects of the Coronavirus has been a shortfall in blood donations across the country.  Lifeserve Blood Center is asking community members to book an appointment at an upcoming blood drive.  Claire Deroin, community relations director with Lifeserve talks about how the Coronavirus has effected blood donations.

Deroin said that along with increasing the times of cleaning and sanitizing at events they have other measures for donors to follow.

The Huron Community blood drive is Tuesday June 30 from 12;30 to 6pm at the Womens Building on the state fair grounds.

Schedule a blood donation appointment online at lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800.287.4903.
