Severe Thunderstorms ripped across the area last nights bring with it mainly gusty winds. Shawn Liebel at the National Weather Service says the Huron area had the worst of things last night…

The National Weather Service says radar indicated a possible tornado seven miles north of Huron, with Yale in the path of the storm. That warning was cancelled at 9:15 and no confirmation of a tornado touchdown or damage was reported. 70 mile an hour winds were reported just before 9 PM as the storm got to Huron.
