The 135th South Dakota State Fair planning will still take place with Covid-19 guidelines a major factor. Many fairs are cancelling this years event due to the size of the events and amount of lead up planning that needs to take place. State Fair assistant manager Candi Briley said the planning for this year fair will be ongoing.
Briley said specifics of events and activities at the fair this year will be determined leading up to the fair.
No specifics of activities including grandstand entertainment are known but will be part of the process. This years fair themed “A perfect vision of fun” is set for September 3-7 in Huron.
