Beadle County Unified Task Force Community Brief
HURON, S.D. – April 16, 2020 – The Beadle County Unified Task Force has been working to keep the public informed on the latest issues we all are facing with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Beadle County.
On Friday, April 17, 2020, at 1:00pm the Beadle County Unified Task Force will hold a community briefing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and provide Beadle County residents with the formal release for the Housing Assistance Program and speak with a counselor. The briefing will be designed as a round table, with representatives from Community Counseling Services and members of the task force who have worked on the Housing Assistance Program. The panel will provide information about dealing with the stress of being at home for extended amounts of time and how to obtain the housing assistance.
We are going to stream the video live on the City of Huron’s YouTube Channel. We encourage to subscribe to the “Huron, SD” YouTube page. The YouTube link will be posted on the “Beadle County Covid-19” Facebook page, before the event. Performance Radio will also air the community brief. The video will also be available on Cable Channel 6, after the press conference.
There will be time for questions at the end of the press conference and the public is asked to email questions to [email protected]. The questions can be emailed before or during the broadcast.
